Their theory was since they have a good ECR 327 on site they can compare functions and swap out parts as necessary. They could simply bring their ECR here...but then they are probably thinking about all the trucking costs to get it here.

OTOH they could go ahead and remove the throttle pot and Curtis controller from the new ECR there and bring that down in a Toyota Prius if they so choose (yes I know they don't drive Prius's but just making a point)

Heck, with my luck they'll probably get it there, take a month to get to it, and then I'll be fretting with them just to get it back !
