That was where I was going with my description of "centering" the APPS mounting.
My term of centering is not the best way of adjusting or learning the APPS idle air position, but is usually the best place to start.
As others on here have said, sometimes it takes repeated attempts to get the ECM through its learning process, and other times it's a breeze.
