I have an ongoing issue with this machine. Unit has only 1600 hrs of use & the regulator has been replaced twice as have the fuel injectors. It's lpg fueled & has the GM 2400 vortec engine. Now the unit is acting up again- having symptoms of having 2 fuel injectors being "sticky"- they stick open- causing the machine to miss on those cylinders.
Customer has gotten a certificate from his lpg supplier that he is purchasing HD-5 fuel- the fuel is from Sunoco.
I've suggested an in-line thermostat to the lpg regulator & cooling vents in the hood assy to cool the unit off, but he resists- saying that the factory would have installed such items if they were necessary.
Does anyone know of any independent testing labs that can confirm the fuel is in fact HD-5? Also- does anyone know of any injector cleaning product that can be added to the fuel? Lastly- does anyone know of a source to have the lpg injectors cleaned? At $170 each- they start to get expensive- Thanks for your help
