Operators do not like restricted speed, because it slows their Hydraulic functions or impeeds acceleration with a full load or up an incline. SpeedShield speed control mounts under the floorplate, where operators can't get to it and it allows full acceleration until it reaches maximum allowable speed. Operators accept this system easier.
