On October 07, 2012, this unit was being operated when it caught on fire. The fire is believed to have started in the engine compartment due to one of the steering hydraulic hoses rupturing and the fluid spread over the turbocharger within the engine and immediately flared into an uncontrollable fire. The fire engulfed the engine and spread up to the cabin which is located directly above the engine compartment. Damage includes but is not limited to: steering, cab, engine, electrical, hydraulic, cooling, transsion, and filters.
