in my experience most large dealerships do stock and rent certain brands and models of equiptment, generally it is their mainline they sell that they generally capitolize on but i have seen where they would keep certain other brands available for sale or rent. Of course this all depends on what the current market in that area has a trend to sell, or what they think may be a viable product for thier consumers. They generally send out questionaire's to thier customers to see what thier applications and demands are to get a grasp on what is in demand or desired.
