I have a Cat GC25K ser. AT82C-03197. Just replaced the engine. Had trouble starting engine and had to clean out the fuel system. It seems weird but I removed the fuel line to the mixer and when the engine would start I would put the fuel line back on. Runs but it dies when you accelerate. Adjusted the throttle pos. until it would stay running. Still dies if you step on it but not if you gradually step it up. The other problem is it will not go into gear. I have power at solenoid but no direction.
Could this be a programming problem? Do I need to call the dealer to program it? Does the throttle pos. have anything to do with the trans.? The engine seems to run better the longer I leave it running.Please help. Thanks, Jim
