Hi Andrew,
I don't think you can go far wrong to be honest.As a time served forklift engineer I'm sure you notice the shortage of us!. As far as I know linde need a good bloke down there but not sure what has changed since I left. Are you good with electrics/electronics as I know our Plymouth depot is in need of good engineers as their main man is retiring soon.
All that aside I would say don't worry at all. With your experience you will never be out of work. Their is a small company in Redruth that I exchanged e-mails with that were very interested...
