I'm in the process of updating my company's training lesson plans and videos. As a method of gaining the trainees' attention, we have cited statistics on forklift accidents and injuries. The numbers come from NIOSH publications but are quite dated -- from the 1990's. Does anyone have more current information/stats that would apply? It would be interesting to compare stats from 1999 to current against the older NIOSH stats to see if the revised OSHA regs have had a positive effect.
