Here we go! Got this starting probelm with my 1950's Clark model c40mb-193-782 wondering if someone can help. Details are such.
Starts and idles good.
Several minutes or more starts to die on slight acceleration.
Seems to get worse as it heats up. As if it was gasping for fuel?
Battery new and charged.
Tried two different full tanks of Propane.
Live in Maine, first started when temps went to 10 degrees.
Took one tank inside overnight to warm, tried and same problem.
In the past, has run very good in cold weather once started.
It is warm now and still problem.
Plugs are two years old, wires are much older.
No Prior symptoms, ran great.
If I was to guess, appears to be fuel delivery?
Can a misfire, such as a fouled plug or other firing problem, cause such a symptom. Seems as though it would also misfire when idling???
