The sister truck I believe has a problem with the accel pot. Can be checked through the dash also. Also recalibrated( which is what I think is needed) May need to replace the pot. If you do... Set the pot to center, lock it down, go into dash and recalibrate. Can explain how if your not sure... May need to check the encoders on this truck too though. These trucks are extremely easy to troubleshoot if you have the proper know how. Let me know if you need further help.
