HI there

I have a customer who has a 4.5 tonne engine truck (diesel). The battery was flat so in the process of jump starting it like an idiot they connected a 24 volt battery up to the truck battery which is a standard 12v battery.

Poof the display goes up in smoke literally catches fire. The display was replaced with a new display and the battery replaced with another 12 v battery.

The truck now starts but after about a minute just cuts out and also when depressing the accelerator there is no reaction no revs or anything. Does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem may be?
