QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:

1-How long has the dealer had the truck??

2- Did they sell it new or take it in as a trade in ( Where did it come from & what type of warehouse enviroment).

3- Can they give you a copy of the trucks serivce history and previous owners.

4- What type of PM service schedule was the truck been kept on? (30,60,90 or 180 days)

5-Take a good flash light with you and look at the motor area, check filters to see if they have been dated from PM services.(Don't be afraid to take floor plates & side covers off for inspection)

6- If you really have doubts, spend a few dollars now and pay a Qualified Forklift Tech to go with you, could save you a LOT of headaches in the future.

If they are not a Hyster dealer, Take the model and serial number to a dealer and have them pull a service history for warranty claims and up to date recalls.

Fact of the week
The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
