This is a older EV100T1 control in a Clark TM20 forklift. The customer says the positive battery cable burnt off the battery and they put a screw in it to reattach it. After that the truck would jump to full speed when first touching the throttle. Then they called me. I fixed the cable properly then I found the 1 rec was shorted so I put a new one in. It didn't cure the jumping and I determined that the 1 rec was turning on and but not turning off. Long story short, I had new 2 and 5 recs with me so I put them in also, no differance. Tried a new card, no difference. After fiddling with it a bit, I noticed that the capacitor was charging up as soon as I pluged in the battery, even without trying to run it. Any ideas?, transformer or 1X choke bad? One thing I also noticed is it takes 3 trys on the throttle before the card shuts down and has to be reset with the key switch and the contactors never shut down even though the controler has PMT. Thanks for any help.
