What is the year of manufacture and/or serial number of the truck? Error 84 is generally a sensor bearing problem in one of the drive motors or hydraulic pump motors. If it drives fine but lifts slow then it is in the pump motor. If it lifts fine or drives slow then it is in one of the drive motors. This is a very common failure item.
