Hi VXman
The truck you have is a digital truck so everything is controlled via the module, when you switch on the module checks everything then if all is ok gives the signal to the gas lock off valve and the electronic speed control magnet, also the signal is given to the drive release solenoid,by connecting the gas lockoff you are bypassing the module but it still won't drive or rev up.
Ideally you need a laptop with pathfinder/truck doctor to see what fault codes are showing, without lap top try looking at the fuses under the display there should be a 1 amp fuse this protects the module and is has blown try another and a 15amp fuse that suppy12v to the module.Check the speed sensor on the fly wheel ths also communicates with the module.
If you have another truck on site try the module on that truck to confirm it has not gone down.

There is not lot else you can check without laptop,
Good luck if you need any more info just ask,
cheers

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
