Hi guys , I recently purchased a used 2000 Komatsu model # FG40ZT-7 8000lb lift from my company it currently has trans problems and I was wondering if you guys could tell me if its worth trying to fix it or should I sell it for junk/ part out?

First let me say the lift and engine works fine although it dose have a lot of hours on it but it was well serviced.

The problem with the trans is that it will not back up, it goes forward just fine but when you put it in either reverse or neutral it seams that it is stuck in both forward and reverse, with the accelerator fully pressed the engine will not reeve up and it tries to creep forward at a strain any suggestions? Thanks
