I'm working on an older diesel forklift that's getting loud under load, and I'm debating whether to rebuild the stock exhaust or replace it with an aftermarket option that's easier to source.
I know truck owners use MBRP exhaust kits a lot, and I've seen a few people mention adapting similar parts for industrial equipment. I'm curious if anyone here has actually tried that on a forklift or other warehouse machines.
I've been checking suppliers that carry diesel exhaust parts, including MBRP systems. One of the sites I've been looking at is https://puredieselpower.com/
Just wondering if anyone has used them before or if there's a better route for this kind of setup.
If you've done an exhaust swap on a forklift, how did you handle fitment and backpressure? Did you stick with OEM style, or go with something aftermarket that fit close enough?
Appreciate any insight from folks who've tackled this before.
