Congrats on the low-hour machine! If the auto-level button is exposed, that's the first thing I'd test/replace. They're cheap and fail often, especially once the boot is gone. If that checks out, follow the wiring back for loose connections. The last step would be looking at the tilt sensor/calibration. I'd start with the button, though-it's usually the culprit.
