i recently had an injection pump rebuilt on a eagle picher rc60 forklift and reinstalled it. this unit has been sitting for about a year. bled fuel system, replaced battery, starter, starting solenoid, tested fuel shut off solenoid. unit still has a very slow crank almost as if battery was dead. removed all fuel lines and cleaned them out. installed new fuel filter. ensured i had no blockages in fuel system.
reinstalled all fuel lines yet unit still has slow crank. crack the injector lines and unit cranks over normal. also when unit sits for a day or so it will fire up immediately. if i drive it around for 10 to 15 mins then shut it down it will only crank super slow again. my theiroy was a blockage in the return lines like the pump it building pressure but has no where to go? i feel like i covered all my basics and yet unit still cranks slow. again only starts after it sits for a day. anyone have this same issue? i pop tested my injectors as well and they have a perfect spray pattern and pop at like 4200 to 4500 seems normal to me. really need some help on this one! if my pump is off by lets say one or two teeth could this happen? timing is everything but unit will drive and sounds normal while running does blow a lil white smoke at first but clears up while driving. any help would be much appreciated thanks

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
