Hello, I have an old c500 y55. I bought it used a few years back. It ran fine when I got it. But slowly it got harder and harder to start. It sat for about a year, when I finally got around to trying to get it started. The previous owner had done some squirrely wiring, so I've been trying to slowly rewire everything, starting with the basics. I've replaces the ignition, plugs, distributor cap, rotor. And I still can't get a spark from the coil to the distributor. I started to look at the neutral safety switch, the wires were all cracked and barley holding together. I cut both ends, and wired them together, to by pass and still nothing, no spark. As I rewire this forklift, where are the other ends of the neutral safety switch supposed to go? A google search said one to the ignition post on the ignition and on to the starter. This didn't work. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
