I have the same type forklift with a brake problem. Maybe we can help each other.
You say yours won't start. This is probably a pretty basic answer but you gotta start somewhere.
These forklifts run on both gasoline and propane. At least mine does. If yours does too, it has a switch to select which fuel to use. If it's turned towards the wrong fuel that you don't have any of... It won't start. So if that's it hers what to do.
Open the bonnet and stand on the left of the vehicle (opposite the control arms) look back towards the radiator and just to the right of it there should be a selector switch. One setting is for gas I believe it's turning the selector left or counter clockwise and it's marked petrol or gasoline. If you turn it right or clockwise it selects propane. Make sure you have it on the correct fuel source and have that fuel onboard.
If it's propane if course open the valve at the propane tank as well.
The gasoline cap is the red one on the right side of the forklift body under where the bonnet meets the body. It's red plastic and looks strange.
Make sure your fuel source and the selector are in sync. I didn't know ours ran on two fuels at first. Try that then you have a starting point. Also check the plug that goes into the coil sometimes the connector in the wire end comes loose. Make sure it's crimped real tight.

Now mine loses brake pedal when I lift the forks with a load on them. Any idea what caused that? Possibly a bad brake valve? I'm new to this wet disk brake system.
