I've been working on trying to find out what starter is on this yale forklift for a few weeks. I purchased 2 of the wrong starters already, this set me back a few weeks and I really rely on this forklift to get things done around the shop and need to get this going again. The starter model number ive bought twice is 16796. That starter will boltup in place but the starter gear wont mesh with ring gear, the gear is to close to the ring gear and is positioned differently than the original starter. The model numbers of the tag by the seat says-
