My Sanderson 4wd forklift has no drive. It's a perkins engine. Runs well. I've checked transmission oil level its ok. I've removed the cover on top and can see the torque convertor turning so the flex plate isn't broken. The trans oil is clear and seems like a grade of light gear oil. The questions I have are... are the trans and torque convertor sharing the same fluid? Is there a seperate check or fill port for the torque convertor and pump? There's a cover on the bottom I've removed that appears to access the converter pump. I would expect this to have automatic transmission fluid but can't figure out the fill port location??
