did you get this figured out yet?
one of my first questions would be did you get an oem joystick? or an aftermarket?
reason being (from my experience) the aftermarket ones do not work very well and will fail. Always go with OEM parts when dealing with aerial lifts.
second question, does it actually complete the calibration with the replacement joystick? does it beep when completed after full calibration, fwd/rev axis AND the joystick rocker button as well? do hear the beep at the end of the calibration? Also is that part number the same one that is on the old joystick?
After looking up the joystick in genie's smartparts lookup it tells me for your serial number truck the part numbers should have been either 101005GT (OEM replacement) or a 101005HGT (aftermarket). which one did they sell you? even though they offer the aftermarket one i would have gotten the OEM one.
From the pictures they are showing of the difference between the OEM and aftermarket ones the aftermarket one has a pigtail coming out of it and the OEM one does not. Which one did you get?
