The forklift was parked outside with gear in Forward position for about 4 months, Two days ago I tried to use it and the engine started without any problems but, beyond my expectation, the gear got stuck and I was unable to shift it to either neutral or reverse.

Any hints on how to solve the problem would be highly appreciated.

Thanks a million.

Fact of the week
The word "okay" (or its abbreviation "OK") originated as a humorous misspelling. In the 1830s, a fad in Boston involved using abbreviations of intentionally misspelled phrases. "OK" stood for "oll korrect," a playful mispronunciation of "all correct".
