I recently did the brakes on my S30A which requires removing the axles. Both axles came out of the housing easy but the right axle will not go back in. It stops about an inch short. I'm guessing that there is a set of misaligned spindles in the 'pumpkin'. In a car all I need to do is rotate the opposite wheel or turn the drive shaft. But I've tried it all and can't get the axle in. Any ideas? Also, it looks like a previous owner cross threaded the axle spindle nut. I can clean up the axle with a thread file but the nut not fixable. Anyone have an idea of a part number or size for this? The thread checks out at 18 TPI.

11/5/19 - Turns out one of the lugs was slightly bent. straightened and the axle slide right in.
