Hello,

I have a transmission fault on a TCM FHG18T3 where when you engage drive there is about a 3 second delay for drive to engage

I have checked the pressures on this transmission of which i am getting readings of

Charging pump 180psi at tick over and 220psi when the truck is revved up

torque converter 10-15 psi at tick over and 90 psi when revved up

and clutch pack pressure of 100psl once the truck engages drive ( and will drive )

I do not have a workshop manual for this transmission to know what pressures i should have,

So could any one tell me what they should be ?

but given the pressure on the torque converter is only 10-15psi on tick over i am now inclined to think that the fault (the delay on drive ) is due to a faulty converter, Whats your thoughts ?

Regards
John
