when the fault occurs what number is being displayed on the dash display? it should display an error code while the fault is active.
when you cycle the keyswitch it resets the error until it trips again when you mash the accelerator pedal.
so turn on the lift, press the accellerator pedal and when it trips look at the led display and record what number it shows.
It may show the battery charge level during normal operation but it should change when the error occurs.
