The early trucks used a relay to control the contactor. They eliminated the relay on later trucks. I believe the later trucks had the driver for the contactor in the controller.

"Unicarriers - it would have to be for a dual fuel unit also. Usually a bad cam or crankshaft sensor will throw a E-27 or a E-28 code on the dash panel... If it does not light up and the bulb is bad then it will not start also."
