Can anyone out there help before I through myself off a cliff! I have a Linde H40D which has got a strange drive fault. The drive doesn't see to pick up correctly. The drive initially sets off then the engine seems to rev up but the drive doesn't pick up as it should, top speed is not met, nor rpm. We have checked both engine and linde ECUs for fault codes but nothing shows up. Boost pressures seem to be fine on engine. The only thing we can find is that the direction control solenoids (IY1 and IY2) will reach full 1200mA when the front wheels are lifted off the ground (ie wheels spinning) but when the truck is on the ground only 600mA is reached. The lift hydraulics do seem a little slow too, although full 2700rpm is reached in the end. We have checked the High Pressure for the drive and if we load up the drive (by pushing the truck up against another machine) full 425bar is reached, but the wheels will not spin.
Any Ideas, Anyone?

Fact of the week
Brothers Adolf ("Adi") and Rudolf ("Rudi") Dassler split their shoe company after WWII due to a bitter feud, and established the rival companies of Adidas and Puma. Their personal animosity and business rivalry divided their German hometown Herzogenaurach. The town became known as "the town of bent necks" due to the intense loyalty to each brand.
