Intermittent Lift

Working on a 30RCTT-190 for first time. Lift moves forward and reverse, tilt in and out works, Lift sometimes works, but not often. Replaced lift contact plates and didn't work right after that but next day it worked and for the next few days, then once in a while... I'm thinking it could be electrical since it works sometimes, but looking for advice on what to try next. Thanks for the feedback!

that is a 36 volt battery and you said that you see 12v on the meter before you fire up a motor ?

the battery is way too low state of charge !

where are you connecting your meter leads ? directly to the cables ?

Before reads 12v and during lift reads 10.25v. Water level is good.

You need to test the battery voltage before & after you select a hydraulic function, watch your meter to see what the voltage is when you are standing still versus when the Lift Motor is running.

Pull the battery out of the compartment and remove cell caps.

I'll bet it needs water, because everybody ignores water levels.

Replaced the Brushes and raise switch.. no change still lifts 5% or less of the time. Tilting the mast to straight vertical seems to help the frequency of the lift, but still doesn't lift very regular at all. Other ideas?

I would look at the raise switch and the lift motor brushes. Make sure the brushes are not worn or stuck in the brush holders.

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
