In short: yes
Sometimes techs adjust calibration of nearly worn pedal, then you need new. But in your case I'm quite certain you succed without.

HELLO , If the accelerator has recalibrate in software a
nd now with new you can have different setting. If not have recalibrate with old pedal you can swap a new one. Better always calibrate with software
