Yes you are correct there are others apart from Rtitb , however my point which perhaps wasn't made clear is the trainer must have been associated to one of the 6 uk providers

You are correct about the basic training and they fact that only the employing company can issue the permit to drive but the rest of your response is rubbish

the RTITB are not the only show in town and simply do not have the authority to back up your statement.

Valid training can be supplied from other service providers

Hi As96

There are a few issues here.

1. Your Training gave you a Cert of Basic Training not a licence.
2. You employer must issue you a letter to authorises you to use that cert at their location.

Now If your In house trainer has given you the correct training 3 parts and he was registered with RTITB then your still covered.

If he wasnt then you will not be covered anymore.

I would like to know if my licence is valid?
After getting my licence last year, the training was conducted by an inhouse instructor, he has now just left the company, and an external company has said your licence is invalid once the inhouse trainer leaves

Fact of the week
According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward. When clocks move back in autumn, heart attacks drop by about 21%, suggesting that loss of sleep is an important driver.
