Has anybody bought the PC Service tool CD and installed it? Does it require a username and password?

I got the newest version of Yale its 4.99 newest. Yes you always need a username and password. You also need the cable, you can buy that online $700.00 about. Or you can try to buy it straight from a hyster/Yale dealer but only the cable No software and no password. Ver. 4.95 will only work on win 7 32 bit. Ver. 4.99 works on win 10. The higher the version also supports more models. I paid to get a password. PC Service tool was designed for Hyster/Yale trained Technicians only not even owners will get it without having the hyster/yale training done. it's a matter of liability cause one can change the settings to the point that the Truck becomes unsafe. U can try going through the dash to get codes and change settings. Default password for Service access in the dash is 55555. But dealers are required to change it before delivery, not everybody does. Owners can get a supervisor password that does not allow Main settings to be changed.

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
