A very easy effective solution for automatic fleet usage PM information, including emailed reports

The SmartKii AMR system is a low cost, easy to install Wireless Hour Meter, the SmartKii hour meter can be connected to the equipments existing hour meter circuit, as well as any other function that you wish to monitor. Once installed, the SmartKii meter broadcasts the hours/minutes usage information. These readings can then be collected by any local PC. Completely eliminating human error issues often accociated with manual retrieval of meter readings.
1.How many man hours are spent tracking down your company's equipment?
2.How much travel time is spent gathering the hour meter readings?
3.How many man hours are spent entering the hour meter data into your CMMS?
4.How accurate is the meter information that has been gathered and then entered?
5.How often are you spending money to manually retrieve and update this information?
6.Depending on the amount of time required to gather this data, is the data now still current/relevant?
SmartKii Systems can perform these tasks for you automatically daily, with an almost immediate ROI.
Call sales for a free version of the meter reading software, for your evaluation.

Keytroller devices can alert an operator on the LCD screen when PMs are due by a date or hour meter reading. If the date/hr meter threshold is passed, then a grace period insues and "Maint Past Due" is shown on the screen. When the grace period expires, then the vehicle will not start, unless you are a supervisor or mechanic. The device will also automate the OSHA required checklist. website is www.keytroller.com
Good luck!

Have you taken a look at the products from Access Control Group? You can monitor lift truck hours, automatically email PM due reports and track PMs all through one web interface. The same interface and system handles OSHA compliance, access control, utilization\efficiency, and impact recording among many other things. Everything is communicated back to a central server through wireless technology and it is based on a enterprise level platform making it completely scalable. It can even interface with other fleet management software packages to eliminate hand entered data (and human error).

I am in the process of a large install of this product, give me a call and I'll tell you all about it.

If you are currently outsourcing your liftruck maintenance, a good dealer can provide you with the information that you need to manage your fleet from their software systems. Accurate costs of operation, %of usage vs. %of operation information, as well as tracking damage and abuse of your equipment for you.

If you are doing your own service, a good dealer is just as important. Nissan dealers offer a system called Fleet Trax which can provide you with the ability to track your costs internaly. Working then with the dealer you can get some idea of how well your equipment is performing and if your service intervals and expenses are in line.

Fleet trax is a product of BEB software and our experience with them have been good.

I uncovered a great software system called The Maintenance Shop (TMS.NET) that was developed by a material handling equipment repair parts distributor. This company, Hettinger Inc., put TMS on the market about 12 years ago and just released an upgraded version. Many national distribution companies are using it. Call Jim Riegel at (800) 253 7607 for info.
