I think there set up has a cap on the top of both ends of the steer cylinder. If you remove the cap there should be a snap ring under it , Remove the snap rings and pry up on each end to remove the cylinder.

If it runs why do you need to tow it up the trailer? That truck should be able to climb anything when running correctly.

I would need to know the serial #. Without it the parts manual would be correct but there were some changes in the parts that would not be.
You can contact me directly at gitrucks at adelphia dot net.

Donald; You have the wrong model #. It is either FJD50 or FJF50. The FJD50 has cushion tires and 4 cylinder Continental engine. The FJF50 has pneumatic tires and a 6 cylinder Continental engine. I have service and parts manuals for both.
If the plate is missing the serial # should be stamped on the right hand side of the frame right next to the floor board.

At that age of machine it will be more temperature dependant than anything else. I see you are in SC. I would start with a good name AW46.

Obviously, it is impossible to know what it is worth just knowing the model #. It COULD be worth any where from $6,000 to $12,000. What kind of manual do you want? You can e mail me at gitrucks at adelphia dot net

It IS a Linde. The serial # should start with 320........
It is a 15,000# capacity truck equipped with a 6 cylinder Deutz air cooled diesel engine and is hydrostatic drive.
