Thank you, Scott! After giving them the part numbers you supplied, they were able to verify and they even sent me a parts diagram. So thanks to your help, I can now order the right parts and get this oil leak fixed!
Brett l am going to give you the part number that you need to get the parts this is a hyster numbers.the o rings are part #326581 and if you want to put in new tubes that part #326579 this should help if you call a dealer.
Thank you so much! I was not aware that the o-rings were only on the top, so that is good to know. I checked several places online for the o-rings last week and nobody showed them. And that made me wonder if what kind of seal they use, if any. So I was really hoping that posting here would answer that question. Anyhow, I emailed liftpartswarehouse.com, where I have purchased other parts for this lift, and they did not respond to my request for seals/o-rings. So perhaps driving to a Yale/Hyster dealer is what I will have to do. I have a large set of o-rings, but the kit never seems to have the right size. Too thin, too thick, etc. So I would rather buy the correct ones so I don't have to do the job twice. Thank you again for your help!
Remove rocker shaft and take out push rod you have to take out tube sometimes they are hard to get to move you might have to usee vise grips on tubes and bang up with hammer to remove the oring is only on the top of the tube try not to damage tube or you will have to install new tubes.what happens is the o rings get hard from the heat of the head over years and leak oil outside on the motor. if you don't damage the tubes you can just replace the o rings take them off and buy a hyd o ring kit and match them up or you can order them from a yale or hyster dealer the motor is a Mazda Va. hope l was of help.
