Discussion:
No travel!

When attempting to go either fwd. or rev. the unit travels an inch or two and then stops and fault codes 66 or 68 appear.
Any ideas out there?

That could be the case. I would test the battery voltage at the positive terminal on each card first. One of the codes makes me think there may be a bad connection between the main controller and slave controller.

In your opinion if all the cables seem secure and the battery is amply charged, is there a possibility that one of the "traction controllers" is faulty?

Code -66: Field FET current exceeded expected current limit.

Code -68: PMT enable signal from slave controller (MRC2) to master controller (MRC1) dropped below 5 volts.

Just by looking at the codes, it seems there may be a short in the system. I would check motor cables for tightness and ensure battery voltages are correct on both the main and slave controllers.
