Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) P5000:
No start

Working on a p5000. Will not start. Injector not getting signal. Fuel from vaporizer to injector. 12 volts at injector harness. Plug injector in, 0 volts. Does anyone know what gives the injector is pulse signal? No codes... I'm thinking a position sensor or bad ECM. Please help! Running out of ideas

it is a possible bad crank sensor, you should try a known good one.

"it's not rocket surgery"
So if there are no codes we can possibly rule out ECM or driver? I've seen threads of bad cam or crank sensors and that makes sense. If the ECM does not know the engines turning it's not going to start injection, correct?

Depending in date of birth, the negative pulsed signal either goes through an injector driver or through the ECM.
This is likely not your problem unless you have codes.
