Discussion:
no lift

Hi all,
Looking for some guidance for issue where on full charge battery reads 36.9vdc yet will not lift forks.

Also, the battery indicator lights are not on except last light and it flashes continuously.

I would like to say what model year my truck is but I don't know and can't find it on any spec plates.

Thank you

Most grateful for your input Brewski
The equalize charge seems to have provided enough juice to knock some of the corrosion off the plates to allow the string to reach 38.5vdc

Forks are up and we're back in business

Kind regards

2.12-2.15 per cell after cool down is a charged cell. This will be different for AGM sealed batteries.

cool, thank you... that is good to know.

So, I reckon I've got a bad cell in the string.
I'm assuming a good, fully charged cell should be at about 2.2vdc and I'm at 2.05vdc

I'll try an equalize charge and see if I get any improvement.

Thanks for your help

You are not getting a full charge. You should be around 38.5 volts. 36.9 is not enough to reset the lift interrupt. Post the serial number and we may be able to age the truck for you.
