The * mark ahead of the fault code number is present to inform you that the truck in question has multiple malfunctions occurring. 514/530 fault codes are saying that there is a short in the power steering power circuit. Look for an armature short in the power assist motor. The 526 error is a PS current sensor that has an elec. open. 510 is the self dianostic check window.
what does the * tell you. I have a truck that gievs me *514, *526, *530 also 510 contact failure. Have CWP02l25S s/n 9C1981
You have a truck that came off the assembly line after Dec 97. The error codes appearing on the display are saying you have a short circuit condition in the traction drives power circuit. Check to see that the truck's chassis is electrically clean. Do this by removing the battery from the truck and having it connected to the truck while outside of the truck. With the drive wheels raised off the floor, battery as described, push buttons 1 & 4 down and turn key switch ON press button 1. Wait till all switches have stopped clicking note any and all error number that appear, also if an asterisk mark precedes the number code. Is this truck equipped with speed controlled hydraulics. Push button 3 will take you to window 500 (lower right corner) button 1 error memory screen 610.
Mengr - similiar code 530 in addition to a fault code 512 on
a CSP01A15S - any help would be appreciated!!

IGBT Trans P/N 29327-2K011-F1
Send Print board to Flight Systems -Mechanicsburg, PA. and see what they say. There are quanity of 12 different print boards that could be. Which one of the 12 is known thru research and/or crossing over the Hitachi No. to a Nissan P/N.
Wow! That's a lot of great information and cost! Do you also know the part numbers for the IGBT and main board? I guess I need to start calling around to get some pricing. We have had this truck for about 3yrs and put on less the 500hrs. After just replacing the battery a few months ago, we have almost as much into this as what we paid for it. Very disappointing.

The first fault code we will discuss is the 013. This telling you that there is Trouble in the Power Steering. The 514 code is saying to that the Power Steering IGBT transistor and the current sensor need to be checked, The 530 fault is telling you that the vehicle's electrical system has a short in it. More then likely the steer motor seen it's better days, more then likely the factory smoke has escaped and ran away, when this happened it took the steering transistors with and may have overloaded the current sensor. There is even a strong possiblity that it took the control transistor on the main control print board out. You could be looking at some ugly amount of parts cost alone. When last I checked the IGBT transistors (pair) cost abt 980.00 USD, Steer motor new 1,000.00 USD and the main board abt. rebuilt 11,000.00 USD. You can hold your cost down by rebuilding the motor at abt. 250.00 USD, the Main board, depending on who does the repair could come in at less then 500.00 USD. Now comes the bad news Transistor are throw away with no value. These transistors have been upgrade from 75 Amp to 100 Amp capacity. I hope this is what you were wanting to know.
