Hi, I'm a fleet mechanic for a small warehouse. I mostly look after little mitsubishi cars but we have a few forklifts here too that I have to work on once in a while.
I've got a newish 2012-2014(not sure which) clark 25l (hyundai 2.4l engine with multiport propane injection) the check engine light keeps coming on. I found out how to retrieve the codes from this site. I have 12, 21 and 38. If anyone can let me know what 21 and 38 mean I'd be pretty grateful. Also once in a while the tilt cylinder won't work unless you rev the engine for a second or 2. I'm not sure what's up with that?

The code is a P2138. The two accelerator sensors inside the accelerator assy, are out of sync. That truck needs a software update from your local Clark dealer.
The tilt issue: Under the lift pressure hose that comes out of the hydraulic control valve on the main valve section, is a plug, behind the plug is a small "poppet" valve and spring. Remove the plug, be careful not to lose the spring, remove the poppet valve and polish it with fine crocus cloth until the valve moves freely inside the control valve housing. Clean the poppet and the bore in the control valve and reassemble.
It has a juniper propane evaporator and drive by wire throttle if that helps.
