Discussion:
MOTOR WON'T START

Two mechanics have tried to work on this forklift with no success. the full model # is GLCO50VXNVSE083, serial # A910V02152C. The mechanics say there is good compression and spark. The last one tried ether but it still would not fire so he was puzzled and didn't know what to do after that. The history is that this lift came from California and is now in Oklahoma. From what I am told it has emissions sensors that the mechanics here are not familiar with. In addition to getting help to get it started I would like to know if the senors can be bypassed or removed. Thank you, Paul

You cannot bypass these sensors in any easy way. It may be a fuel issue. You need to check the fuel pressure at the trim injector located at the base of the carb/mixer. Are there any fault codes showing on the display?
