Discussion:
modify travel speed

can anyone help this old man out? recently received a new lift truck @ work and the darn thing crawls. i can never hook up with our service guys to get this modified. our work schedules don't overlap. i know it can be done but not sure how. i know there is a specific PIN to get me into the option to increase travel speed. can anyone help me out with this? the procedure? any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What if within the parameters menu pressing the horn again doesn't make it able to make changes? Also can I get a copy of that parameters list?

Press and hold the horn button while turning on the key (if so equipped) to access Special Truck Modes.
Or...
Enter the Operator-Specific PIN Code followed by the green ON button. (The factory default PIN is 1.)
Continue to hold the horn button while the display (read in the numeric field) scrolls through the following modes:
* H = Hour Meter Readings
* E = Error Codes
* P = Parameters
* Pn = Software / Hardware Versions
Release the horn button when the mode you are seeking is displayed.

PROGRAMMING TRUCK PARAMETERS:
Access the Special Truck Mode just as before.
Release the horn button when P (Parameters) appears on the display and the parameter control icon is illuminated.
Use the thumb lever to scroll up or down to the parameter you wish to change or view, as shown on the chart on the following slide. Release the lever when the parameter you are seeking is shown.

Press the horn button once to gain access to adjustment of the selected parameter. The parameter symbol on the display will now flash.
To change the parameter setting, simply rotate the thumb lever to the desired setting. Then press the horn button to confirm the change. End parameter changes with the red OFF button.
Exit Parameter mode by simply pressing the red OFF button
