Discussion:
Mast goes up but comes right back down

When I go to raise the forks, it works but as soon as I let go of the handle it goes right back down steadily. It is like the truck is always activated to lower the forks. I swapped out the two switches with no change. For awhile when i turned the key on, the contactor engaged instantly and activated the motor but the forks didn't raise until i raised the handle. I feel like this is a wiring issue but I am struggling to find where I could be missing it.

Sounds like an issue in the spool valve. Check valve leaking back. Eliminate power issue. Raise up and disconnect battery. If it drops. Not an electric issue.

Fact of the week
In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
