I can clarify retrieving failure codes a little; on LX series cards (basically any card with a handset plug that doesn't start with the letter Z, example ZH) function 1 holds the last known vehicle fault. Press Store than the number one, the next numbers you see will be the previous known fault.
On ZX series EV100 cards there is a little more accessible history; Function 1 still holds the last known fault the same as above but you may also use GE Sentry via a laptop to access the last 16 known faults along with the vehicle hours when the fault occurred.
If you would like me to elaborate any further let me know. Any replies via email I will immediately respond to.
same thing at me. trying to retrive codes!
Yes thanks,Ive worked on lifts for way to long.for several different companys. Now for myself.I do understand what you are saying.I mainly want it to retreive codes. Thanks kent
Personally I would strongly recommend you also invest in the flight system or TVH school to learn how to not mess up the settings so that you damage the truck or hurt someone.
'A _little_ knowledge can be a very dangerous thing'.
It is pretty straight forward. It's better used as real time codes never really had luck retrieving stored codes , some say function 1 has stored codes. It's not so user friendly I think when you push buttons sometimes other function appear. To program functions hold CONT button down and turn keyswitch on. It should come with a book , if not I could shoot you an email with a little cheat sheet. I should add you cannot operate unit while in programme mode, just hit escape a few times , then you should be able to operate unit and look for any codes to pop up on display
