If using a hyd function ( does not matter which one) and then selecting travel, the hyd motor will slow to a crawl. If you release the accelerator pedal, the hyd motor goes back up to normal speed. If you just use the hydraulics without travel, all is normal. There are no codes. All voltages seem normal. Any thoughts? BTW - there is an additional letter in this model. It's an " H ". 7FBEHU18. Unsure what the H is.

Thanks for the help. The battery took care of this problem. After replacing it and returning it out of demo mode, all functions are back to normal.
Just got to checking the site. Thanks Toyzilla, I was going to mention the battery in the display. Not very hard to change, just a pain.
yea, that would help, sorry. rodetec at snet dot net
cant help without an email address. remember to spell out (dot) (at) etc.
Appreciate the replies. I'm acually posting this for one of my tech's. It is not fixed yet. What is the procedure for replacing the battery, if thats the fix. Thanks.
rogeriwt is probably right. there is a battery in the display that goes dead and when it does the truck can (usually does) go back to demo mode. other programming may be effected as well. if you dont already have it fixed and you want some help let me know.
This truck was is use for a while. It had been fuctioning properly, when it just started loosing hyd speed ( so stated by the operator). Hyd functions are ok as long as you don't try and travel. Is this the case when it's in demo mode? We all know operators can do things we couldn't even think of doing. Could they have pushed the right combinations of buttons to do this?
Waht does the hr meter read? The truck could be in demo mode which disables the lift function when the truck is traveling.
