Linde Reach truck display fault

We have a Linde R14S, Serial No. G1X115T........
Dash display BDI will not return from lock-out mode after battery has fully charged, substituted known good display & works fine. is there a way of resetting BDI or is unit now scrap, only done 4000 hours & are expensive!

These displays get broken sometimes. What we do: drill a hole next to the display and mount an aftermarket BDI.
