I guess it all depends on who it is that you are comparing them to. I agree that some parts are priced high but poor availability has never been an issue in my experience.
Be prepared for high cost of parts and very poor availability. Enjoy!
Linde offers an 11,000 lb. electric in the states. Contact your local dealer.

Totally agreed.
E60-70 trucks, 034 series were total disaster.
OM product, incorporated into Linde range sometimes at the century break, appeared to be extremely defective, expensive in operation, with very low service support.
Fortunately, they are out of Linde line now.
Stay away from them.
BBforks: Linde is like the Cadillac of forklifts in my opinion and as far as service and parts availability the company I work for has branches in that area and we are a Linde dealer company is Equipment Depot we have a branch in Allentown Pa and in the NJ area around Philly know they cover that area good.
I'm not sure if they still do but Linde have in the past badged an OM large electric machine as their own as I have seen a 6 ton electric before. If this is the case I would tell your customer to steer clear as the volumes on this type of machine is low so subsequently parts availability and knowledge on the product is not good.
Karait- I appreciate your feedback- seems Ihave some homework to do
Thanks again
Hello
Sorry to interfere, while I operate in Europe, my experiences may be different, but according to my knowledge, you may have problems in US with such trucks.
Actually, the highest available capacity one Linde E trucks is 5 Tonner (388 series). There are some "leakages", that Linde works on 6 tonner (mayby 388, or new range) but this is a future.
388 trucks are available in Europe since 07-2011. According to the feedback I have - they are pretty cool, but still they bear some childhood diseases. You should wait, say, half a year, maybe a year, before these trucks get the "defect free" Linde standard.
As far as I know Linde in PA/US offers 388 trucks, but I am not sure about the delivery times and service support.
Just ask them.

In Europe the technicians are still under intensive training.
The parts availability, as usual with new product, is visibly worse than for estabilished ranges.
The amount of the trucks on the market is small, so probably - this is the reason of no feedback from our US collegues.
Simply no experience.

Hey guys- I really need your help. I don't want my customer to buy some dog that I can't get parts for- does anyone have experience with these in the US?
